Funny how we all know that pain of losing your loyal friend. You had a good pal, Suntiger.

Sad to hear of your best friend's passing, Suntiger. I've lost two very good dogs and one surly cat that was my special buddy and I know the pain. Sorry for your loss.

Thank y'all for the kind words . It was strange today working in the gun room without Winston's special "help"..

Also wanted to thank y'all for the guidance on the hand issue... because of that help , along with a new file and some time and patience, I now have a brace of working pistols again ..

Hand spring broke on the other one yesterday...a much easier fix this time , had squired calipers in the interim... and had the benefit of knowledge gained here!

Little late here but wanted to offer my condolence on losing a great friend. God bless ya on being a great friend to him as well.

Can offer no advice on the hand that has not been given. These fella's will not steer ya wrong. This place might have lapses in additions time to time but all thats needed is to offer an opinion or question and WALLA spark some activity.

Allow me to express my sympathies on your loss.
We went 10 months after losing our boy of 11 years.
Six weeks ago we got a new guy. Quite the handfull, but we are loving him

As far as the hand issue follow the advice given. I just did the same.
