My Browning 1885

This is my Browning BPCR; it is just as I bought it. It comes with the factory tang sight and hooded level front sight.

The longest range I have shot this rifle is 400 yards and it will shoot better than I can hold it. I have only shot black powder loads in it.

Oh, man...that is a beauty! I wanted to put a vernier on my High Wall but didn't dare drill into that gorgeous wood.

Kirk, that's one of the differences between the '85 and the BPCR.... The BPCR has an extended tang to mount that tang sight. And you are correct, Browning does those rifles right!
