Shot my 1860 tiday.
No stoppages or issues today.
Still can't shoot it anywhere near like I can the Navy.
Has to be the grip.
But I still had fun.

It's funny how we're all different. I'm exactly the opposite. The Navy is just too small for my hand. I hate having my pinky curled up under the grip. The Army sized grip is perfect for me. I even switched a few Navy pistols over to the Army grip. My conversion is also an Army grip. Just much more control for me. Must be why I like the Dragoon so much too.

  Do you have large hands? My hands are short in length but wide and my fingers are very thick. Perhaps that explains the grip preferences.

I must report today, I shot it as well as my Navies.
Rang the bell 30 out of 30 attempts.

lol ... Piker!!! my footies are size 15. i stand 6 Ft 5 in tall and I have the same situation with the ,51/73 grip frames ... however my hand has taken an afinity to that lil grip frame and I find that I curle my pinky under the 60 grip frame now

I'm 6' 2" and 300# with size 13 feet. But you make me feel small!

I am very enamored with the 1860 grip. it's just right for me. I even swapped out the grips on a couple Navy pistols a while back, to Army grips. I also have the 72 Open Top and it has the Army grip too. The Navy grip is just not comfortable for me. Same for the SAA.

God graced me with what I got so recon I will just continue on. 65 inna couple months so guess it is a bit late anyway. Jest wish EVERYTHING was bigger 😁

The 51 is my choice but I surely do enjoy my 60's. Love the big ol handle and who don't like sendin big ol 44 conicals  over as much 3F as can be squeezed under em zippin down range.
