Not a good deal, if you knew how much work goes into a Walker kit. Another $50.00 and you can have it completely finished.

No, sir. Not ignorant at all. It's just that $50.00 off a finished gun doesn't seem worth it when you figure how many hours go into a finishing a kit revolver, not to mention the cost of applying a finish to the metal. It cost me $60.00 to have my Army kit hot blued by a professional gunsmith...and this was back in the 1980s. Your labor probably works out to around .50 cents an hour by the time you finish. It's a terrific learning experience, don't get me wrong. But once you've done it, you check it off your list and say, "OK, not gonna do THAT again!" LOL

Yes. I get that👍 I think Midway, when they have the non kit Walker it’s  like $10 more!!?? I paid $419 for mine back in April. It does sound laborious on the kit albeit a learning experience? You would think you would save a little more money than $10?🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

If you want a learning experience build a brass frame kit.

Because the brass is rough and has to be polished out and some part are oversized. This one has the steel parts blued but usually you have to smooth out the tool marks and blue it yourself.

When I buy a piece I just want a gun.  Kits are not my thing.  It's a delay.

Get it. Take apart and smooth things up, lube, reassemble.  Go shoot.  I have never wanted to be a gun factory.

They don't have much. 2 different brassers, an engraved Navy with white plastic grips, and the Dance in "Old Silver" finish.
