Back in December I purchased a very gently used Lyman Great Plains flintlock rifle in .54 cal. It sports a 1:66 twist barrel and features blackened hardware, and is of the Hawken/Gemmer half stock style with an octagon barrel. While I have yet to shoot it, it's tons of fun to look at and play with until I can get to the outdoor black powder range. I've been threatening to post picture for months now, and am about to make good on that bet right now. So, without further ado...

It only took ya 7 months to post it.
It's a really nice looking rifle. Can't wait to hear the range report.
