This one was made in India and is surprisingly airtight. It's just a pain to fill.

This one was made by a friend. The plug unscrews for easier filling.

Hawg, those are nice horns. For filling horns with small holes, I soldered a bottleneck cartridge (minus the head) to a powder can cap and it just fits the smallish hole on those horns without removeable filler caps.

Good idea. The India horn is my smallest. The other one is a lot bigger. I had a plain midsize horn but it got broke.

Those are really nice Hawg.

I've been looking at them myself. It's the one thing I don't have, and I want one for use with my flintlock.

I would stay away from the cheap horns. Most of them aren't airtight.

Thanks for the advice, because that's exactly what I was looking at!  *6'

Lots of them for sale on eBay and such.

When you get one. Take the stopper out and try to blow through it. If any air escapes it's no good. You might be able to get the base off of it to seal it. "MIGHT"
