It is NOT a Colt, or even black powder, but it is an interesting gun.

This is a steel framed pistol, the earlier ones were forged aluminum alloy.

I'd like to have one of those. How well does it function?

I haven't shot it all that much, but it is running good so far. Depending on who you talk to, they are either a piece of junk or a very accurate shooter. They tend to be picky about what is fed to them, but the high velocity CCI 22s work well. I tend to run my semi-autos "wet"....well lubed. And the feed ramp might need to be polished a little.

This is a 22 pistol as you may have gathered from previous posts.

The first pistol I had of this type was a well used Erma Luger 22. I sold that a couple of years ago. Those were lesser quality, pot metal or zinc frame and barrel with a steel liner. Those may have been where the bad raps came from, but mine worked well.

I've never met a .22 that didn't like CCI. I have one that wont run anything but CCI Mini Mags. I guess I should probably get a new recoil spring. The one in it came out a an old Ford C4 transmission valve body.

That is a cool little pistol Em. I've seen pictures of them, but never knew anyone that actually had one.
