Teething Pains

Well, as with any new thing, this 'new' forum seems to have it's share of teething pains! As of this morning, Tom has managed to restore the Emoji/Smiley function for posts, and I have been able to help a few restore their avatar pix. If any of you need assistance in that area, don't hesitate to PM me. Shotgun Dave will begin working at trying to restore photos to your threads, beginning with the most recent and working back. If you notice any of your posts that are missing pictures, let him know and he will see what he can do, but please be patient...there are nearly 4000 images that need to be restored, and it takes time. It's noteworthy to mention that the images that were hosted from an outside photo hosting site (such as Flickr) and were posted in the dialog box transferred with the forum data and don't need to be restored. Just sayin'.
Several newsletters have gone out in the past days trying to contact our members with updates and the new link to this 'new' Colt Country web address. We are not sure how many, if any, of these reached the recipients, so if you have contact info for any members you don't see having returned here, please contact them with the new information.

I have begun transferring pictures over. It is going to be a looooong process, so please be patient. I literally have to go through the old board post, by post and look for attachments. The pictures that were put in posts via a hosting site such as Flickr have migrated over and are intact. But looking for all the attachments will take me a while.


Capt, my emojis have only partially returned. If I had to guess, I'd say less than 50% of them show. The rest are just a blue square with a "?" in it.

That's exactly what I get too Hawg. I'm sure Tom will straighten it out. But I I'm glad everyone is posting any glitches they find. This will help fixing them.
