............ Anyone else want to give any advice? As I said this is my first Remmy. Love to hear what others have to say? 😊👍

Sell the Remmie and buy a Colt.   :lol-049: :lol-049: :lol-049: :lol-049:

Only half of that is good advice.  Keep the Rem - get a Colt.  Then repeat in that order.  Shoot them though.  You can use a rock for a paperweight.

HAHAHAHAHA...Got it G-Dog. About lost my mind for a minute.

By the way. After further investigation, I noticed that the cones are not dead center to the hammer? They are slightly off? Timing? Any thoughts?

It's like this; either you cotton to a gun, or you don't. A drop-dead gorgeous 2nd Gen Colt that feels like the kids left it in the sandbox, or you can't hit the broad side of a barn from inside, is only eye candy. The only way to truly find out is to shoot it and put it through the paces. Either you bond with it, or you don't. Dave has said many times how he owned several Remmies but they left him cold. I totally respect that. Me; I like some of my Remmies better than others. Only way to find out is to make some smoke.

Maybe Z should get a .44/.45 jag and nipple wrench first.  We're waiting, Bubba.

Hi Julch --  I've been thinking that you deserve a cee-gar for those last two pics of your new Remington.  Those are the two on a cement surface where they defy gravity and sort of float in air without any 'visible means of support'.  Perfect angle for a Rem picture, too.  I really like those with an abiding certainty.

You did well with that  :happy-thumbs-up-050:
.
That may be the best looking  'old' new gun I've ever seen.  Big ups on that finish and those two pics in particular.
