You are probably correct, Dr. Davis is quite a collector and expert on replica cap and ball revolvers. He even has the largest collection of the rare Witloe Remington revolvers in existence.

I would tend to agree with that. His collection is massive as is the amount of knowledge he carries around in his head!

Speaking of which, I do hope that sometime in a near future he will share this knowledge with us, be it in a book or a DVD or whatever...

I spent some time on the phone with Mike Bartlett yesterday, enjoyed it.
I decided to send mine off to (GoonsGunworks) today.

About a year ago I spent about 1/2 hour on the phone with Mike just talking open tops. When he has the "mike" he does not stop talking.  He is such a wealth of information and will give out any information asked because, I think, he knows much more about the pistols than anyone calling and is not the least bit concerned that someone is even a bit in competition with him. Kudos to him.

He is a gem, IMO.
