You guys talking about old air guns made me go dig this one out of the closet.
My Mom bought it in 1972, shortly after her and my Dad divorced. She felt it looked enough like a real gun, that it could potentially scare off anyone breaking in. Thankfully we never had to find out.
It's still in it's original box with the owner's manual, and is in fantastic shape. It still works too, although it's pretty anemic.
The price tag is still on the box, and says it was on sale for $6.92
