Coming to you from Long Island, I was a past member of the 58 Remington forum and just received an email of introduction to this forum. Greetings to everyone and looking forward to gathering some great information and making a few pards.

I just checked the Remi Forum. Saw you joined in 2011, well before me. Some of your pix are still up over there, 1858 and Colt Army and .58 Enfield flinter among others.
Why not re-cycle some on here? And you still have got time to enter the banner contest!

As was mentioned, feel free to recycle any pictures and posts from 1858 over here. That forum, while still accessible through the 'back door' on some browsers, is gonna run the clock down one of these days. And if Smokey doesn't re-surface to pay the domain fees, it will wink out and go quietly into the night. Since he hasn't emerged to pay the SSL fees yet, it's pretty much a done deal so salvage what you can and bring it along over here!

Thanks everyone, the warm welcome is appreciated, I recognize a lot of names from the old web site. Although I shoot both powders I tend to think of myself more of a Black powder shooter so it's good to be back.
