Here's a few of mine...I'm a cob fan.....have several dozen.

Dave....to answer your question about the large bowl pipe. It's a MM "General" poker. The stem I got from Forever Stems. One thing great about Missouri Meerschaum pipes is that there are only 2 stem sizes, so they are interchangeable. The Forever stem cost more than the pipe, but it'll fit any of the "filter" pipes, is acrylic instead of that cheap plastic....so it'll last forever.

This is a good idea too. I bet quite a few of us have a pipe collection.

I posted this in the other thread, but here is more appropriate. I made the top pipe from a broken off stem from an old Irish clay pipe. I carved the bowl out of an old piece of elk antler. It works surprisingly well, although it does get pretty hot.

Clay pipes aren't my favorite for smoking, I've had a couple. Missouri Meerschaum sells a couple different ones now. But there is just something about the "cool factor".

I need to get a pic of my as yet unsmoked carved meerschaum. It was given to me for some leather work.

Top most in my MM Dagner, by far my most smoked pipe. Next to it is a hand carved meershcaum, lower right is the MM Devil Anse, and an un named briar that I refurbished.....and a great smoking pipe for being small.

I haven't used any of them for years. Not actually fully forgotten, though. I think I could lay my hands on them but they're buried and it would take some time to rout them out.

You know an interesting thing. I would never get rid of any one. There's just something special about a pipe.

My Grandfather was a world class violist that traveled all over Europe and Asia. He left me some of his pipes that he collected from all over when he died. I still have some of his favorite tobacco in a wood humidifier from when he was alive. Every once in a while I get a little down and stuff it in one of his favorite pipes. I love the smell.. I will get some pics for you all tomorrow.
