Cannon ball
« on: February 11, 2022, 03:14:43 AM »
Still BP related but I found a 10ā€ cannon ball 114 lbs for sale within a couple hrs from home.
This would have came from a sea cannon. Iā€™m just learning about these. Trying to be able to verify this is what they say it is.
Also possibly found a bayonet for my 1861 Springfield.
Should be an interesting weekend

Probably from a coastal defense cannon or mortar. A 10 inch solid shot weighs 128 pounds.
