It's just a Richards Conversion. They are different from the 72 in a few aspects. One being the ejector rod set up. I believe what Mike is referring to is the "S" curve under the barrel on the 72.
Right, and the newer (cost saving ) S lug barrel held the long ejector housing with a single screw. The '72 used an S barrel but had and integral rear sight cast into it.Mike
The original RM's were all round barrels.
