I don't know Will....that toe looks about perfect to me..... Love the look of sewn toe holsters....

I was just thinking that the more rounded toe would be another interesting shape. Not better but just different.

I know it's more difficult but a plugged toe would look good.

A stitched toe plug looks very classic. The amount of difficulty isn't all that great. I may do one. Actually, this is a good excuse to make two more holsters.

Thanks for the input, pards. I kind of prefer a stitched toe rather than a plug but not exclusively. I like the look of both when I make a set of holsters for myself. It looks more like they were picked up at different times which is more like the way things were back then. Only a few could afford a fancy matched rig. The working stiff just got what he could when he could.

I generally like a little border decoration to break up the plainness of just leather but sometimes, that can work against the overall look.
