I for one, would like to see some drone footage of you shooting your guns. Combine both hobbies together! I recently got a DJI Mini 2 drone. I'm going to use it to record myself and the kids shooting. Should be able to get some interesting angles.
Hi Dave, the Mini 2 is a great under 250g drone that doesn't need to be registered with the FAA. That drone uses Li-Pol batteries that slowly discharge to protect the battery chemistry. You can use Mini 1 batteries in the Mini 2 that are Li-Ion that doesn't discharge so that the drone is always ready to fly without waiting to charge batteries. However, that will put the Mini 2 over 250g. Registration with the FAA is simple on line, $5 for three years.
A drone could give some nice shooting video as seen from the bad guy.
BTW, shooting down a drone has the same felony criminal penalty as shooting down a manned aircraft. The FAA regulates all airspace from the ground to the heavens. That includes private property airspace.
Happy flying!
