My BP sub of choice is Triple 7.  You couldn't pay me to use any thing else. My Cowboy loads are 16 grains of fffg in my 38s, 21 grains fffg in my 44-40s.

Pyrodex & Triple 7 is all I have ever used.  I like Triple  7 more between the two, it is more powerful and has more smoke 🚬  (7& :usa-flag-89:

Ditto Triple7 - used it in 44 percussion, 45LC, 38-55 and 45-70.
