How does that model P handle? I have never had nor actually held one.
It appears to be a small revolver say compared to an 1860 for instance? Thank you
IMHO, they are the best balanced of all Old West guns. When I pick one up it is like part of me.

My '51 and 2 Open Tops are small to me, compared to my Model Ps.

Not as much as any of the Rugers such as the Blackhawks or New Vaqueros. Same size as the Colt SAA.

I find that odd. The navies and model P all have the same grip frame. The only major difference in size is the top strap.

Maybe because the lack of a top strap on the '51 and '71 ?
