Great Collection Mazo! I just have one of the guns pictured :( The 1903 hammerless Pocket Pistol. It belonged to my Grand-Dad. It's about in the same shape too! He use to wear it in his waistband underneath his butcher's apron!

My dad was a hunter so never owned a handgun. Before my folks retired to Las Cruces, he sold some of his guns, taking some south with him. I brought those back to Wisconsin  before he passed away...a '94 Winchester,  a Springfield 1903, and a Nobles pump shotgun. Still have those!

That 1900 is an absolute gem - has it been refinished, or is that original - regardless a very nice and interesting pistol.

Sorry for the narco-thread, resurrection!

Pit.

Pit fighter, the gun is original. The only thing that was changed over the years was that the sight/safety was changed. Guess that was a common occurrence.

I've always liked the looks of the colt lightening revolvers, especially the short barrel models.   Too bad their less than stellar reputation kept them from being as popular as the SAA.
Nice set of revolvers Jim.  Always enjoy looking at your collection.

Nice! I see that the numbers are mixed; not too unusual for an original that old. Can you tell us what the gun brings at auction?

Will do. I suspect that some wealthy bastard will bid far more than the reasonable price, just for the provenance. The provenance is probably OK, cause the two guys running this auction business are with the Antiques Road Show on tele. But how the heck did it end up in this god forsaken place? The catalogue will turn up in a week or two, then we'll know the starting price.
