More Shootin

Took a couple cap guns out for some exercise today.    A few days ago I bragged about shooting my Walker one handed so I figured I had better be sure I could still do it.  Good news!   I can still manage to get a cylinder full squeezed off before I have to rest my arm.   Yes I can hit the target too.   
I also warmed up the full fluted 1860 Army and my 1862 Police.   The '60 Army worked flawlessly but the '62 Police was a cap suckin son of a bitc....  er gun today.    Sometimes she works OK but other times it's tough to get two shots off in row.

Good on ya. I used to shoot my dragoon one handed but I don't know if I could now.

That's great Mike!! Where is the target that you say you hit??    Just messin' with you.  LOL I need to get out and shoot while the weather is nice and cool.

Zulch,   the target is a swinging gong about 20 yards down range.   I was lucky to get the shot of me holding the Walker let alone hitting the target.   I almost always shoot alone since I don't have any friends so getting photos is a PITA.   I could invest in a tripod but I would rather buy powder & caps.

Yesterday it was 69 degrees here.   A rare winter day above 40 degrees.

You did a real good job of taking the picture!! My hats off to you. I can relate, I don't have any friends to shoot with either. LOL. Come to think of it??........

Good company is always welcome, whenever.  For me though,  shooting is like riding.  To really get the zen flow going ya need to go solo.

Good pics and nice guns.  I’d go 3d model but I don’t have one of any mod Dragoon and I don’t know why.  Is your Dragoon 1st or 2d Mod?  Are the cylinder notches ovaloid or do we see leeds?  Handsome piece.

G Dog,   I assumed you were refering to Hawg's comment that he used to shoot his Dragoon one handed.
