I'll be darned, being a Civil War buff and all, I had no idea about such a mortar!
My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

The only thing I've heard of was Daniel Boone's tree trunk cannon used at the siege of Boonsboro. I'm not sure if it was real or not. I was just skimming videos and came across it.
