Beaded sheath
« on: May 12, 2024, 04:45:14 AM »
I've been looking for accessories to go with my flintlock and came across this beaded neck knife sheath at a reasonable price. It beats the hell out of the homemade sheath I've been using. The knife is the first one I ever made and didn't really know what I was doing but it's a great patch knife. I made it out of a circle saw blade a long time ago. That's not rust on the blade it's some kind of stain. It will come off. Not that rust bothers me. Most of the knives I've rehafted have been rusty relics. Now that I have this snazzy sheath I may cut it down and add a poured pewter butt cap.

A beaded sheath is a great accessory for a flintlock. That one looks nice. Good find.

Did you get that sheath from a girl named Cheyenne Tremblay?
She does some pretty good stuff at reasonable prices.

Crazy Crow is a good place too.   I used to get catalogs from them but they may have quit.   Everything is online now.  I haven't bought anything there for years so they may have dropped me from the list.

Some of their stuff is good, some of it's crap. You pays your money and you takes your chances.
