Thanks again, gentlemen.

You probably already know this but somebody in India bought the Dixon & Sons and I think Hawksley tooling in the 1960's and started making flasks complete with original markings.

Yes, I have seen beautiful brand new Dixon flasks made in India in the last few years. I don't think they make them to look older though. And if some of mine would be made in India, so be it, as I still like the look and feel of them...

I just don't see a flask from 100 years ago being made to look old. I'm not knocking the India made flasks. They're made on the original equipment so you'd think they'd be the same quality or at least close to it.
