Go for it WECSOG! I bought an 1861 from them and had no issues with Jedediah Starr. They actually answer the phone when you call them too. I guess you have bought from them before? Merry Christmas WECSOG  I bought an 1860 from Shotgun Dave and it has the octagonal sheriff barrel on it. i like the shorter barrel too. I also bought a spare barrel that is the original barrel so I can swap them out if so desired. It mostly remains a Sheriff model as it handles very nice. The one you are looking at looks nice!

I actually ordered it last night. It might arrive before I even get to shoot my new to me Dragoon, and I'll get to shoot them both in the same session.
I would like to get both a full length barrel and a snub barrel for it. Or, maybe I'll buy a snub with the birdshead grip and a spare full length barrel.
