Kibler Hawken

Well it's coming. Percussion half stock but that's where any historical resemblance to a real Hawken ends. He has taken way too many liberties with the Hawken design.

Yeah, but due to the name and reputation they'll sell like hotcakes. Most people today don't know HC and if they do, don't care.
Look how many brasser Remmies got sold throughout the 90s and early 2000s

Yeah, I see on the American Long Rifles forum and Kiblers Long Rifles Facebook page and others they just don't care. Most of them prefer the 8 1/2 pounds and short barrels. Yeah some did have 31 inch barrels but it wasn't the norm. It's a rifle that could have been made back then but a Hawken it is not.

That's right. And the ones that REALLY don't care gravitate naturally towards (dare I say it?)...inlines.
Personally, I have no dog in that fight, with exception of those who are taking advantage of state DNR rules to encroach upon a season that was designed as anything but what they are using it for.
