Thanks Capt. I plan to stay here at home and do what I always do, not much of anything. I might throw a firecracker or two, but won't be shootin' any guns in the evening. I don't waste ammo or powder just because it's a holiday, that's what sticks of dynamite are for.

Same to you, Capt, as well as the rest of the Colt fraternity.  The way I'm bunged up, I won't be doing ANYthing, so I guess it will be a safe one for me.  Take care everyone.

I'm smoking fifteen pounds of ribs and making eight pounds of potato salad for the guests coming over.

Thank you and a Happy Independence Day to all of you.

I plan to spend the day with herself and our dogs.  I'll water the garden and fill the bird baths.  Later, when we eat, we like to watch the birds visit the garden pools for their evening drinks. 

We are going to BBQ a pork shoulder, should be enough to last the two of us for several weeks, so after it is cooked I will divide it and freeze some for later.  With just the two of us, it is hard to make small portions so we make large and save it for later.

Our Flag is up and waving in the breeze!
