Thank's Tom!!  That's really neat to be able to watch a chain of event's that happen in the blink of the eye!

One of the thread's over at Marlin Owner's has a slo mo of flintlock being fired. Very interesting in how a few spark's can ignite the pan. Most think of a horrendous shower of spark's like a grinder would produce, but in reality.....

Part of the clip's has a zippo wheel and flint hitting the frizzen. The frizzen only provides the surface for the wheel to turn on as the cock move's past. Actually a different take on the wheel lock I suppose.

I alway's liked the slo mo of firearm's, fun stuf!!

Until you see something like this, you wouldn't ordinarily  think that the cap, do to it's shape and position, would make that many sparks.

At least I didn't think that...
