The local gun shop has a brass-frame, Pietta-made, Colt Navy in .44 caliber for $149. It looks at least little-used, if not unfired.

Your call. $149.00 seems pretty top-end for a brasser, even unfired. You can get 'em all day on GB for that price.

Cabelas has the brass framed navys on sale now for $149, so you could get a brand new one. OR, they have the steel framed .36 navy for $179, or the steel framed civilian model (silver backstrap and trig. guard) for $229. Best go new
