Due to an unprecedented attack by spammers and bots, I am being EXTREMELY picky about who I approve for new membership to the forum. One of the steps you may have noticed is that you were sent an activation email, which you must activate before your registration is confirmed.
Now, here is the important part; I have reason to believe a few may have slipped in "under the radar", so I will ask you to do this additional task; stop by the thread called "WELCOME WAGON" and give us a short intro. Doesn't have to be a book, but enough to let us know the newly registered members are real, live people.

It's sad we have to make registering new members more difficult,  but it is necessary.   I hope it doesn't get to the point that even more restrictions are required.

On my site I have about 200 members took me two years I get an average of 2 requests a week. I have had well over 1,000 in the past week I am mass rejecting them

Sucks when it comes down to this. I think this sort of activity should carry a very heavy sentence and loss of internet privilege for life. We are just a forum...think about the trillions of dollars businesses lose from this bullshit!
