Title: Pipe Hawk

I acquired this pipe hawk some years back. It has a curly maple handle but it's not bored.

Nice 'hawk! Sometimes it is tricky to drill the length of that handle. My only attempt ended badly :-[ Maybe if I had used a brad pointed drill it would have been different. Or slice the handle lengthwise and carve out the center of both pieces before gluing them back together.

Did that once for a calumet I made. Worked well, IIRC
