I've got a few pocket models.  They include, from top to bottom, a cased London Model, a 6 shot Hartford model with 6 inch barrel made in 1865, and a 1851 Navy made in 1852.

I shoot both 777 F2 and F3, often  screw up between them, but cannot notice any difference.

Powder / Re: Anybody use Triple 7 ?
« on: December 31, 2022, 09:09:42 AM »
I use T7 for my cartridge guns .38, .44-40, and .45 Colt.  Very accurate and clean.  Cap guns get fffg Olde Eynsford til I run out, then it's T7.

Powder / Re: Whats a good BP sub?
« on: December 01, 2022, 11:38:48 AM »
My BP sub of choice is Triple 7.  You couldn't pay me to use any thing else. My Cowboy loads are 16 grains of fffg in my 38s, 21 grains fffg in my 44-40s.

It's a stainless steel 2nd gen.  $1,000.00 is a little high.

Powder Horns & Flasks / Re: Powder Handling

Very nice group there Bishop.    I don't have any 2nd Gen revolvers so I haven't aquired any 2nd Gen flasks.   I'm pretty sure Fingers Mcgee has all the 2nd Gen flasks.
I've only got 5 2nd Gen Army/Navy flasks that aren't part of cased sets.  A silver plated Florentine flask is my favorite though. Ive been using it for more than 20 years for CAS matches and shooting at the bench.  Rifles get loaded from a horn.

Keep checking in. Fingers will be along. He's probably the best source on pricing 2nd gens.
If it is fully functional and doesn't show any evidence of abuse or excessive wear, it should bring around $400 - 500.

Other Models / Richards Mason

Got a new Uberti Richards Mason this past weekend from my LGS.  2022 date code, Cimarron barrel address serial number, date code and proof marks on underside of barrel lug and frame.  Fit and finish are excellent. Action smooth but heavy, trigger breaks right at 3 lb.
