I pick her up Friday. I got friggin delayed again, thats 6 in a row now... I've about had it with the BFI... 3" barrel Taurus judge magnum.

1873 SAA Colts / My first SAA

So I picked up my first SAA yesterday! Yes I did have 2 that were cap and ball but those aren't really saa's now are they? Anyway, I traded the Afghani jezail I picked up 2 weeks ago for this.
Eaa bounty hunter circa 1997 44 magnum.
I hate the extended grip so if anyone has a normal grip they would like to trade, let me know. Otherwise I'm just cutting the bottom off this one.

Percussion Muskets and Rifles / Continuation of the "what did I buy this time" theme

Traded a hi point 40 and hi point 9mm for this. All I know is it has the east India trading company lion stamped on the lock. Looks to be a flint lock converted to cap lock since the hammer and nipple drum all appear to be hand made. The butt pad looks like it's made from camel hoof, there is some gold inlay left in it and it's in desperate need of cleaning. My fiance calls it the "if Dr Seuss and Willy Wonka had a war battle rifle"

Soooo... I dug my pair of super companions out the other day, found a horizontal holster for them and started carrying them again. So lets revisit the whole "2gn unique or 1gn bullseye" in the cap guns discussion... Also, what about trailboss? Seams like TB powder would work well in the little NAA's... Mine are loaded with 777 3f grinded into a fine powder... Thoughts?

So i picked up a rossi model 8 off the SASS wire for a little over 2 bills. caliber is .320 bulldog. Once i get it in my hands i'll decide if im going to ream it for 32s&w or leave it .320...

Found this at the LGS for a grand. I've never even seen one before!!! A stainless 1860 Colt signature series .44...

This is the target from my 9mm qualification. Shots are from 3-15 yards. The last shot (from the 15) "went low".

I picked up 3 revolvers today.
A Smith and Wesson 10-5 with a 6" barrel (top) 38spl
A Colt police positive? In 38spl (middle)
Iver Johnson cadet in 38 s&w (bottom)
The grips on the Colt won't tighten up. I'm looking for the correct set but can't figure out of it's a police positive special or a police positive. Apparently there is a difference. Anyone know what I got here? It says "police dep't" on the back strap... That all I know on this one.
Anyone have an idea of the values of these, they are in very good condition with almost no bluing loss or wear.

just finished this up... front site and pinkey finger groove were done today, the birdshead grip and cut barrel was done a few weeks ago...

i'm looking at picking up a brasser 44 51 "army" (yeah i know not correct) fantasy gun. it is unfired in the original box, it has no engraving on the cylinder, comes with all the paperwork, a brass/copper flask and a spare unengraved cylinder... i'm thinking of picking it up to resell and i got them down to $175 for it. sound like a good deal or should i pass?
