Felt like this should be posted over here, so if you're wanting to switch to a Ruger-type coil hand spring for your bp or SAA Colt, you can get this jig and precisely locate the hole needed to put this plunger and spring in to drive the hand forward!

You can save yourself the $70 + postage by simply doing like this guy did here (pretty slick in my view)!

Just thought folks might want to know. Kinda goes with this thread over on a different forum, but that's just imho (and most everybody knows I'm an a**hole, so fwiw, there ya go)!

Okay guys, held on to this information for way to long. There's a Gripmaker over in Carthage Mo, and (while he'll make you a set of faux ivory or stag grips for your shooter), where he really shines in on what he calls his sculpted designs! Simply outstanding.
Posted this over at '58 Remmy, figured folks here'd want to know!

I know this is a little late, but in many of the older dugouts I seen in western Kansas growing up there was sometimes leaves packed in on the dirt side and on what remained of the roof sometimes (think they were used as form of insulation back then - some of the older houses had them in the walls also). Just what I remember from misspent youth!

If'n you have a cap-sucking problem when shootin' a conversion cylinder, maybe ya should switch ta lolly pops (worked fer that bald-headed Telly Savalous feller waay back in the '70's)!  :-H

Very nice "modern" revolvers (think it's still permissible to say 'modern' in same breath as 'revolver' isn't it,)!?

                  "* * * . . . Well, you'd be right fogey if you think that is a good "fix". . . .* * *"

Wouldn't count as a "fix", more like a "work-around" Mike! Can't say it'd be a "fix" cause nothin' be "fixed" other than having a "hysterically correct" gun to look at when ya ain't shooting it, complete with period correct cap jam making mechanism fault and flaws uncorrected, just my opine (and - just like buttholes - we knowed every a-hole comes complete with one)!
                                 :-H

Meybe keep a "filled" hammer (one with the safety pin slot welded up of "JB Welded" up,) and another hammer fer when yer not shooting it (have ta take it apart to clean it anyway after ya shoot - 'course the 'before ya shoot' could be a annoyance [ta me anyway, course being "h-c" ain't me anyway -] that way you'd be "good ta go" at the range and could still be "h-c" on display)!
                                                     JMHO, fer what it's worth.
