The best cap and ball revolver I have ever owned. With my 209 shotgun primer nipples it's as reliable as a cartridge revolver for a defensive piece.

Only downside is that due to the blued sights I can't shove it into the dishwasher to clean it.

I HATE cleaning guns.
So it sounds like the ROA is a gun unto itself and a replica of nothing, then?

So far it has been amazing! Thanks, gents. I have been on this sight now & again reading up on my favorite hobby and trying to learn as much as i can. Hopefully I will be able to get in a bunch of shotting this summer. Thanks again for the birthday wishes
