On the frame will be 2 letters stamped in a box. That will tell us the manufactured date.
-
In 2021 they started using the last two numbers of the date instead of letters. My dragoon made in 2013 had the full date under the trigger guard.
-
Very nice. I’m feeling a bit envious but very happy for you.👍

There are no letters stamped in a box anywhere on this pistol that I can find.

Oops! I found it finally on the side of the frame. It was kinda camouflaged by the case hardening. It is a number 21 in a box. Manufactured in 2021
-
I think it should be letters and not numbers🤔 my Walker that I bought in 2021
-
Here are my markings
-
Zulch, I read on the cap and ball website that in 2020 uberti went to putting the last two digits of the year in the box. According to the same site yours was made in 2004
-
You are correct. I apologize. Here is my other Walker and it too has the 21 like yours 😁👍thanks for that.

Made in 2021. Yours too, Tim.

I've posted this before.

Thanks for posting that again Hawg. I'm going to put it in it's own post, and pin it somewhere that's easily found.

Thanks Hawg and Shotgun. It will be nice to quickly go to this if we find one for sale and need to know.

You got it AR.
I posted it in the Knowledge Vault, and pinned it to the top.

Hi kwc271, there are few BP revolvers that are a cool as the Walker. Attached is a photo of my two Walkers. The one on top was a kit that I had nitride finished. The bottom Walker is original Uberti.with a cylinder that I nickel finished. As you may know, Walker cylinders were never blued because it would soften the work hardened wrought iron cylinder. Both Walkers has had the arbor length fixed. I regularly shoot .45 Colt using a conversion cylinder with them. My wife now getting up in age suggested I get a walker for her. I told her that I already had two that I could loan her. LOL (7+" (7+" (7+"
Regards,
Richard

Those are beautiful Richard. thank you for posting your brace. :usa-flag-89:

Those are very good looking revolvers! Thank you for posting them Richard, I’ve enjoyed looking at them.
-
Love 'em both Richard.....but the bottom one is over the top cool!
-
I agree with Mick. The bottom one is outstanding.
-
Thank you everyone for the kind words! I’m planning on making a display case for my Walker, but now I’m looking for the flask and nipple wrench. Unfortunately all the flasks I’ve been able to find are really expensive, and that’s the reproductions.
