Been collecting for a few years and thought I'd drop by.
Knowing that pics are de rigueur, here are some of my BP items:

Welcome, grab a chair and a cup of coffee.  You already know some of us can't read and you posted photos.  Very considerate.  I like the 1861 and the Springfield Single Shot Rifle.  I have a couple of each.  Do you use black powder for the Trapdoor?  If so, post about your load in the appropriate section.

StrawHat, for now the Trapdoor get only factory loads. I am reloading now .45 ACP for my Thompson and .223 and .300 AAC. Plus scrounging for components for the 71/84.

From North Coast Free Calistan – Big welcome to ya canaris.  Great pictures you posted.  You’re right, pics are ‘de rigger’, at least we sure like them. That’s some nice iron.  Cool tooled leather back ground for the pistols.  Is that an old book?  Real fine close up of the Trapdoor too.  I like em all.  We’re  pleased you have joined us.

Any relation to the eponymous admiral?

Loading for the trapdoor is easy.  When you are ready there is lots of information available.  I load for both the 50 and the 45 caliber trapdoors.

Are you planning on black powder in the 43 Mauser?

Welcome from Wisconsin! You certainly have some prime examples of firearms. I only shoot black powder loads in my Trapdoors and 43 Mauser.

My search ability has failed me but if you search for "Ross Seyfried, 43 Mauser"  you should find a link to the magazine article he wrote for either Handloader or Rifle magazine which does a good job of explaining how to reload smokeless and blackpowder ammunition for the 43 Mauser.
