Don't know about that choice(s) Fingers, I was real respectable using my Rogers & Spencer, I'm gonna try to equal or better those days with my new (to me) Centaure

Offhand, not very good. Most of my shooting has been from a rest. I am fairly new to shooting and I like to take a methodical approach to working up loads and determining POA vs. POI.

I don't think I've ever used an actual rest with a pistol. I've braced against a tree a few times.

Greetings Richard and Other Netizens At Large -

back many lustrum ago, when I was young and stupid, I shot really, really well! hitting the soda can every time at 30-40 yards I was hot stuff.

then as I progressed in both age and wisdom I discovered the posted scores from folks like Old Fluff who shoot competitively at the nationals. I discovered these folks shoot at 25,  50, and 100 yards, and post scores measured not in the 9's ( out of 10)
but with all in the 10 ring and winner is counted by the number of X rings....

Now, having gained  age and less stupid some tiny modicum of wisdom I find that I shoot somewhere between pathetic and adequate :-)
