Hey all,

New member checking in here. Mostly been a long time .22lr plinker until some friends talked me into trying out black powder, and recently picked up my first cap and ball revolver, an 1851 Navy imported by Navy Arms that I'll post about later. I'm a librarian and a former history major so shooting cap and ball fits right in with my usual obsession with early American history. Glad to be aboard!

im in bunker hill WV about 15-20 minutes from navy arms and about 25 minutes from taylors! (its expensive living that close to taylors!!!)

speaking of which, i have a navy arms/pietta target remington .44 that appears to have gone unfired i'll be selling here soon if you're interested...

Yeah living that close to Taylors would be pretty darn tempting. It's bad enough living near a few breweries and crab shacks, though Taylors would be lighter on the calories. Appreciate the heads up on the NA/Pietta!

Maryland isn't much better Richard. Being surrounded by my home state of VA and WV both with way better laws is always irritating.
