OK, so guess I don't have the London Colt, still a very nice gun in my eyes!

If it is factory, that is absolutely the best wood to metal fit I have ever seen on a Pietta. It is very much better than any of my Pietta 1851 Navy types.

If anyone else is interested in one like mazo kid's 1861, Dixie Gun Works offers one in their print catalog (cat# RH0841) on sale now online for $295 plus shipping ($19).

https://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?products_id=14044

The catalog nowhere states it is a London model, but it has an 8" barrel.

Just trying to help you folks spend money that I don't have!

Regards,

Jim

The 1861 is my second favorite Colt, after the 36 pockets. Odd I don't own any, yet
