A quick question on a CVA 36 brass cylinder mount
« on: July 21, 2018, 05:45:16 PM »

I have this CVA cylinder mount that was a kit gun I picked up many moons ago. Who built CVA's back in the day. I am going to need a few parts and I was wondering who's to order. Pietta or Uberti or whom ever. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Lee,

I have an 1851 CVA which was built by Armi San Marco.
As far as I know, it would be either an ASM or Pietta.
ASM parts are available through Deer Creek Products.

Hope this helps, AntiqueSledMan.

Thanks Sledman. I looked at Deer Creek and it shows some CVA but not revolvers. So the ASM would be the same as CVA I guess. If Pietta parts will fit then they are more readily available. Looking for trigger, bolt, hand, and hammer to get a good timing thing going. Building a parts on hand gun for playing with.
Now for the mediators, how do I post without doing this guiz every time? Need to be a member? I don’t get a quiz on the 58 Forum.

Hi Lee, you can get a low cost set of parts for the Pietta here:
