Every now and then, I get a couple of shots that I am happy with. In this case, a Common Pondhawk.

Just to be clear, like butterflies, there are many varieties of dragonflies. This particular variety of dragonfly is called a Common Pondhawk. We also have Flame Skimmers that visit our pond. They are huge and bright red/orange.
