Gun Show Purchase
« on: June 01, 2014, 03:14:30 PM »
Found this one at a gun show Saturday.
1851 Navy Civilian Model (silver backstrap and trigger guard).  It was NIB.  Only thing I didn't like is the fact it a .44cal.  But for $160 I couldn't leave it there.  The guy started at $225 but after some enthusiastic negotiations I walked away with it.

Nice score.  I've had a couple of these Civilian .44 Navies in the past & they all shot well.

Me too.  That's the biggest reason it caught my eye.  I was actually kind of looking for another 1858 but there wasn't a single one at the show.  This revolver has a little "curb appeal" to it.
