NIB Navy
« on: July 02, 2020, 04:05:06 PM »
This is my Navy, still haven't shot it. I checked this entire forum and only found one  other reference to an ASM Navy.

EM, you know the prerequisite: PHOTOS! Markings, datecodes, et al.

Say, Em...if you ain't gonna sully that thing you can always send it my way. I'll dirty it up right quick and put a ice drag mark on it, too. Just sayin'... ;)

But, but... I DID post photos and said the date code was 1997 (BI). The date code was very lightly struck, hard to get a good picture.

That's beaut Em!

You're right too, you don't see many references to ASM Navies.

Post the same series here:

https://blackpowdersmoke.com/revolvers/index.php

We are trying to kickstart anything to do with BP percussion revolvers in order to not let this forum die. That is a nice, possibly scarce, ASM Navy. I have nothing to add.

Regards,

Jim

Good looking Navy. I agree you don't see the ASM ones often on the forums nor even on the auction sites.

I for one hope we are not dying too. I think that this stupid coved  crap is to blame what with work and economy slowing and closures of ranges as well as just plain ol trepidation over the "WHATS NEXT" thing has us all slowed down a bit ... however ... I betcha we are all and each still hooked line and sinker in these fine revolvers and the billows of rich smellin smoke to give er up for a stupid cold (HA)!  (jh

No way, Ted. Traffic may have slowed due to Covid but CC is very much alive and well.
