If your brasser shoots and smokes and you're having fun - then it's a valuable piece.
I think it has too much barrel to cylinder play.

How much end shake does it have? Take a set of feeler gauges and measure cylinder gap with the hammer cocked and the cylinder held all the way to the rear and then measure it with it all the way forward. Subtract the second measurement from the first, and the result will be your end shake.

Still checking between the cylinder and barrel on second measurement?
Even the thinest feeler won’t go in between with the cylinder forewords.
Hope I’m understanding correct.

Duuh, I was thinking about modern guns. I'd just shoot the thing and not worry about it or do one of the fixes Cap told you about.

Well I pulled them pistols today. I shot one cylinder through the brasser and 3 through the Army.
Had one cap not fire on the brasser the Army was flawless.
I ran 20 through the brasser and 25 through the Army.
Still need to find or make a nipple wrench.
They’re cleaned up and ready for next time.
I’m impressed with how they shot.
I’m addicted.
