Aces & Eights Wild Bill Hickok
« on: August 27, 2013, 09:31:38 AM »
This is a Pietta Bill Hickok 1851 its .44 cal. So not something Bill would have ever used but it is fancy.
I tried a few times to buy another one as I have a matching crossdraw holster that would be cool.

Every time I've found one somebody bids it out of sight but I do check just to see.

Would make a decent BBQ gun.  Other than that....................................

You can get a Navy any day, Tom. Aces 'n Eights is a keeper, but you should have a matched pair of 'em.

I'm looking at a couple of nickel plated with fax ivory grips 1860's. I like the 1860 Colt.

'60 Colt is a nice firearm. I prefer the smaller grip of a '51 or a '61 but they do feel good in the hand... ;)
