Cowboy Knives

Here are a couple knives and sheaths that are popular with the working cowboys around here.   They like the pointed blades and  full tang handles.  Good for cutting anything and the sharp point makes lancing an abscess and such easy work.   The knives are custom made by my Uncle at Loke's Knives.   The sheaths can be worn outside the belt or inside the belt for more security. 
I made the sheaths of course.

Those are some good looking knives. Not that I could afford one, but what do they run (on average)?

Knives are $85,  the sheaths are $45.  Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get a knife from Loke.  He is 80 years old and never in a big hurry, but he can still turn out some good blades.

Those are too purty to be working knives. Seriously, my custom damascus blade knife maker told me to USE mine!

Why not have something functional and good looking?   My Uncle encourages his customers to use their knives too.   If they are used then they wear out or get lost.  Then new ones are ordered and knife makers stay in business.   That's why you never hear a good maker tell someone to put their knife in a drawer and leave it there,  no matter how pretty it is.

Hi Rayb,    Loke is 82 years old and does business the old fashioned way.....   He sells at gun shows and by special order.   He does not have a cell phone or a computer.  You can call him at home but it is difficult to talk on the phone for him.
