Not familiar with them , but Graf has them , any problem with using them on Pietta Navies? Hard to find caps locally right now... it's not an urgent matter .. just don't want to get low on hand...

RWS 1034 are a number 11 cap. You will have to pinch them to get them to stay on.

Hawg

Would switching out the factory nipples with something else be a good idea if I were to get those caps?
Might not be a bad idea to have some options?

Thanks for your help

Tresos would be a good match for them. Slix Shot would probably be good also but if you switch out the nipples #10 caps won't seat. You would have to swap nipples every time you changed cap sizes.

I have three sets of nipples. With the cap shortage I match the nipples to whatever caps I can get.

In my experience,  RWS 1075s are about as universal as you can get.

Agree. I had great luck with the 1075's when I could still get them.

Len, you are lucky! It is unbelievable how nearly everything is out of stock here. Even black powder supplies and equipment.

Tried them (RWS)yesterday... they are fine ... I do like the idea of having an extra set of nipples to adjust to the vagaries of cap supplies... so what is the voice of experience on options ..stock and slix or something else.. my pistols are Pietta Navies .. just been using the stock ones till now ...

Sun tiger, I prefer the slix shot nipples. I purchased nipples from Track of the Wolf and the size of the nipples varied a lot. Some caps were easy to put on and some didn’t fit without a lot of pressure. No problem with the slix shot nipples using the same caps. I also have the stock nipples. My #11 caps are loose on them. When #10’s are available again I’m sure they will fit on the stock nipples.

Glad to know that. That's the combo I will use going forward.
