London Colt
« on: July 24, 2021, 11:28:47 AM »
While visiting with our friends yesterday, Steve showed me his original London Colt. It had a period cartridge conversion done to it by a gunsmith/blacksmith. The recoil shield was riveted to the frame( (jh) and the loading gate was hinged at the top instead of the bottom. Steve said he would send some photos, and when he does I will post them.

Nice gunsmithing. I'd like to know how he got those rivets in there.

That's a fantastic piece of frontier gunsmithing.
