Western National Rendezvous 1992
« on: February 03, 2014, 01:14:33 PM »
Here is a picture of my child bride and myself taken at the WNR near Polebridge, Mt in 1992. We were dressed up to go to a potluck dinner that evening, tipi in photo is our 18 footer.

The sword isn't mine, another friend insisted I wear it for the occasion.

Where was that held? Years ago I used to 'pipe for a Scottish Country Dance group, spent many weekends at King Richard's Faire near Kenosha, Wi. Fun times!

It's held out in Apache Junction. They have a whole town built out there for the faire.

As a side note, I was born and raised in Kenosha.

A couple of handsome couples there!

Mazo kid, gotta love that Claymore.  Nothing like a two handed great sword to get someones attention. )lI

Thanks. The two-handed swords look great, but are heavy. I prefer my basket hilt for carrying.
